Gordon Strachan got his career as Scotland national coach off to a winning start at his old stomping ground, as Charlie Mulgrew scored his first international goal.

The Celtic defender latched on to a Charlie Adam free-kick in the 35th minute to seal the win for Aberdeen legend Strachan at Pittodrie.
