Scottish Cup semi-final ticket information

Wednesday, 08 March 2017

We have worked in partnership with the participating clubs to agree a competitive ticket pricing policy for next month’s William Hill Scottish Cup semi-finals at Hampden Park.

Tickets for both Hibernian v Aberdeen on Saturday, 22 April and Celtic v Rangers on Sunday, 23 April will start at just £20 for adults and £10 for concessions in the East and West stands.

Tickets in the North and South stands are priced £30 for adults and £15 for concessions.

The scheduling of both fixtures was also agreed in collaboration with the four clubs, our broadcast rights holders and Police Scotland.

Our broadcasting agreements with Sky Sports and BBC Scotland enables the association to distribute more than £6m per year of cup revenue to all participating clubs. Under UEFA Blocked Hours regulations, no matches can be televised live between 2.45pm and 5.15pm on a Saturday.

Therefore, both BBC Scotland and Sky Sports will broadcast Hibernian v Aberdeen on Saturday, 22 April at 12.15pm. A later kick-off time was discussed but was deemed prohibitive to return travel.

On the basis of Police Scotland advice, and Sky Sports’ rights to broadcast one of the ties exclusively, the Celtic v Rangers tie was subsequently scheduled for Sunday, 23 April at midday.

We have offered to assist all clubs in ensuring adequate transport provision to and from the national stadium for both ties and look forward to a spectacular weekend of William Hill Scottish Cup semi-final action.
