The William Hill Scottish Cup semi-finals are fast approaching and this weekend Hibernian will take on Aberdeen and Celtic face Rangers.

Across the Scottish FA and Scottish Cup's social and digital channels, each team has been featured in the lead up to the games as well as their community trusts.

One of the Rangers Charity Foundation’s latest projects aims to have a positive impact on people’s recovery from addiction through football.

‘Recovery with Rangers’ uses the power of football to engage with men and women who are in rehabilitation and helps them move in positive directions towards volunteering, further education, training and employment.

Participants take part in a number of activities throughout the programme, including football coaching, which can help develop communication skills and lead to improved self-esteem.

In order to enhance the future employment opportunities and develop the confidence of participants, they complete their SFA Level 1 coaching qualification and Level 1 First Aid course which can help them progress onto positive destinations following the course.

Participants take part in a number of other workshops delivering key messages in relation to drugs, alcohol, diet, healthy eating and money matters.

The club also facilitate a Recovery 'Drop-in' Centre at Ibrox on a Monday offering support for local people who want to maintain their recovery from drug and alcohol dependency.
