Disciplinary outcomes | Neil Lennon and Hibernian FC

A Disciplinary Tribunal convened today in accordance with the Judicial Panel Protocol to consider the following case:

Case 1

Alleged Party in Breach: Neil Lennon (Manager, Hibernian)
Match: Hibernian v Greenock Morton (Scottish Championship) – Wednesday, 29 March 2017

Disciplinary Rule allegedly breached:
Disciplinary Rule 203: In that at the above you did commit misconduct, and that:

a) You did adopt an aggressive attitude to Kudus Oyenuga, player with Greenock Morton FC; and/or
b) Jim Duffy manager of Greenock Morton FC, and another member of Team Staff from Greenock Morton FC having entered the Hibernian FC technical area, you did adopt an aggressive attitude to the said Jim Duffy, and/or a player from Greenock Morton FC; and/or  
c) Immediately following on from the dismissal of Darren McGregor of Hibernian FC, you did adopt an aggressive attitude to the Match Officials.

Outcome: Complaint upheld for paragraphs (b) and (c) only. Paragraph (a) not proved.
Sanction: Two-matches to be served immediately and a further two-matches to take effect only in the event of a breach of Disciplinary Rule 203 before the end of the calendar year

Case 2


Alleged Party in Breach: Hibernian FC
Match: Hibernian v Greenock Morton (Scottish Championship) – Wednesday, 29 March 2017

Disciplinary Rule allegedly breached:
Disciplinary Rule 204 of the Disciplinary Rules of the Scottish FA.

That on or around the 93rd minute of the above match three or more players and/or members of Team Staff from your club, were involved in a confrontation with opposing players and/or members of Team Staff.

Outcome: Complaint upheld
Sanction:
£750 payable within 30 days a further £250 payable in the event of a breach of Disciplinary Rule 204 before the end of the calendar year
