Walsh and O’Neill to referee U17 tournament

Nick Walsh and Paul O’Neill have been appointed as a Fourth Official and assistant referee, respectively, to a UEFA U17 Championship Elite Round tournament which the Scottish FA is hosting from 17th to 22nd March.

 

The participating Associations are Scotland, Montenegro, Serbia and Switzerland.

 

For such tournaments the host Association is required to provide an assistant referee and a Fourth Official to complement the three referees appointed to the tournament by UEFA.

 

The three referees are Luis Miguel do Nasciemento Teixeira (Andorra) Robert Hennessey (Republic of Ireland) and Krzysztof Jakubik (Poland). Each referee is accompanied by an assistant referee from their Association.

 

Nick and Paul will officiate at the games not involving Scotland.

 

The tournament schedule, with referee appointments, is:

 

Friday 17th March

 

Serbia v. Switzerland

Cappielow Park, Greenock, kick-off 1pm

Referee: Robert Hennessey (Republic of Ireland)

 

Scotland v Montenegro

St. Mirren Park, Paisley, kick-off 7.30pm

Referee: Krzysztof Jakubik (Poland)

 

Sunday 19th March

 

Switzerland v. Montenegro

Cappielow Park, Greenock, kick-off 1.00pm

Referee: Robert Hennessey (Republic of Ireland)

 

Scotland v. Serbia

St. Mirren Park, Paisley, kick-off 3.00pm

Luis Miguel do Nasciemento Teixeira (Andorra)

 

Wednesday 22nd March

 

Switzerland v. Scotland

St. Mirren Park, Paisley, kick-off 5.00pm

Referee: Krzysztof Jakubik (Poland)

 

Montenegro v. Serbia

Cappielow Park, Greenock, kick-off 5.00pm

Luis Miguel do Nasciemento Teixeira (Andorra)
