Lorraine Watson has been appointed to referee in a UEFA Women’s Champions League Qualifying Mini-Tournament in Croatia which runs from 22nd to 28th August.
The participating clubs are Stjarnan (Iceland), ZNK Osijek (Croatia), Klaskvikar Itrottarfelag (Faroe Islands) and ZFK Istatov (FYR Macedonia).
Lorraine will referee Stjarnan v. Klaskvikar Itrottarfelag on 22nd August and ZNK Osijek v. Stjarnan on 28th August.
She will act as the Fourth Official for the Klaskvikar Itrottarfelag v. ZNK Osijek match on 25th August.
Lorraine will be accompanied to the tournament by assistant referee Vikki Allan, who will officiate with Lorraine at her three matches.
For such tournaments, UEFA appoints three referees for the six matches which are to be played and each will have an assistant from their own Association. The other referees are Maria Marotta (Italy) and Melis Ozcigdem (Turkey). The host Association provides an assistant referee and a Fourth Official for matches not involving its own team.
