Scottish FA Youth Cup Fifth Round Draw

This afternoon the Scottish FA Youth Cup Fifth Round Draw was made by Scottish FA President, Alan McRae at Hampden Park.

 

An Ayrshire derby will take place in South Ayrshire after Ayr United overcame Dunfermline in the Fourth Round and Kilmarnock defeated Queen of the South following extra time.

 

Hibernian earned their place in the Fifth Round due to a 2-1 win over Aberdeen and have been rewarded with a home tie against Celtic who enter the round on the back of a 5-0 win.

 

Holders Motherwell edged out Greenock Morton 3-1 at the weekend and will travel to Partick Thistle.

 

Rangers beat Hearts 5-2 in Edinburgh on Sunday and will take on Falkirk at home who progressed after beating Spartans 4-1 away from home.

 

The full draw is as follows:

 

Ayr United v Kilmarnock

 

Hibernian v Celtic

 

Partick Thistle v Motherwell

 

Rangers v Falkirk

 

Ties will be played on or before Sunday 22 January 2017
