The 2017-18 UEFA European Under-17 and Under-19 Elite Round draws have been made in Nyon this morning.
Brian McLaughlin’s Under-17s will take on Germany, Greece and Norway in their Group Eight section. Greece will host the tournament with the matches taking place on 21/24/17 March.
The eight group winners and the seven runners-up with the best records against the teams first and third in their section will join hosts England in the finals from May 4-20.
The draw for Donald Park’s Under-19s went along similar lines, with Germany and Norway again paired with the young Scots. They’ll be joined by the Netherlands in Group One. Germany will play host to the other sides for matches taking place on 21/24/27 March.
Only the group winners will qualify to join hosts Finland in the finals from July 16-29.
UEFA also took the chance to make the draw for the Under-17 and Under-19 Qualifying Round, looking ahead to season 2018-19.
The Under-17s were drawn in Group Five alongside hosts Cyprus, Kosovo and Switzerland with games to be played on 26/29 October and 1 November.
The Under-19s will take on San Marino, Sweden and hosts Wales in Group Four. These games will take place on 14/17/20 November.
