The Scottish Football Association

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the game and the Scottish FA understands this.

We also recognise volunteering does not simply mean coaching, but that it includes those vital people who: drive the mini-bus, wash the kit, fillthe water bottles, put the nets up, do the paperwork, fundraise, thelist goes on and on.

It is our responsibility to the game, the players and their guardians, to support them in the best way possible.

We have a range of projects that looking to do that, ranging from coaching courses, to workshops on child protection, running a club and touchline behaviour. We also have an initiative that looks to assist with thedevelopment of club infrastructure called Quality Mark.

This particular scheme looks to provide clubs, small or large, with the guidance to develop their provision into whatever scale they feel theycan provide -  via coach in-service, player recruitment and clubdevelopment seminars.
There are many more opportunities to getinvolved, regardless of whether you want to develop your coachingexpertise, or simply be of any help possible to a club.
