The Scottish FA recently hosted C Licence coaches from America at the Oriam Performance Centre, through a partnership with United Soccer Coaches.

After facing disruption and delay due to the ongoing pandemic, candidates were finally able to travel across to Scotland in early December.

Head of Coach Education Greig Paterson said: “The coaches get to do a lot of work on pitch here at C licence level, as well as go through some Master Coach coursework with professors from the University of Delaware and coaching staff from USC.

“We also provide guest speakers from across Scottish football, so all-in-all it’s a great package and makes up just a small section of their Master Coaching course which they’ve been working on for around 18 months now, delayed slightly because of the pandemic.

“This has all been in the planning for some time but naturally it’s been hard to have coaches travel over from America, but it’s been great to have them here.”
