The Semi-Final draw of the William Hill Scottish Cup took place live on Premier Sports this afternoon.
Ally McCoist and Simon Ferry joined host Emma Dodds to set the stage for the last four of the 2019-20 competition.
Celtic were drawn against Aberdeen and Hibernian were paired with rivals Heart of Midlothian setting up a memorable weekend of Scottish Cup action.
The Semi-Finals are set to take place on the weekend of Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 April.
Former Rangers forward Ally McCoist said: “It’s a brilliant draw, my only disappointment is my own team wasn’t in it.
“I’m not sure my mate Derek (McInnes) will be too happy with it as Celtic are obviously favourites to win the competition.
“Aberdeen came through a really difficult game in Paisley and will have nothing to fear. They will take confidence from watching today’s game between St. Johnstone and Celtic as Tommy Wright’s team caused them problems.
“The Edinburgh derby will be really interesting as it’s been a bizarre season for them both. I can’t get my head around Hearts’ form but their two recent performances against Rangers have shown they are capable of performing on the big stage.
“It will be a difficult one to call but it is certainly one to look forward to.”
Open Goal host Si Ferry added: “This was the draw everyone wanted I think. If there’s one team that can stop Celtic, I think it will be Aberdeen as Derek McInnes is a great manager.
“Hibs are the favourites in the other tie I think as their form under Jack Ross has been impressive.
“Other than the two Rangers games, Hearts have been poor in form but if there’s one game that they can get up for and put in a performance in it’ll be against Hibs at Hampden.”
