Today the Scottish Cup draws were conducted for this season’s Fourth and Fifth Rounds.

In the Fourth Round Rangers will take on Celtic if they overcome Cove Rangers tonight. Stranraer will play host to either Queen of the South or Hibernian and Forfar Athletic will take on Dundee United.

Due to the tight fixture schedule the Fifth Round draw also took place as the season builds up to the Scottish Cup Final which will take place on Saturday, 22 May.

Chart topper Nathan Evans, who has risen to fame this year with his hit sea shanty hit ‘Wellerman’ conducted both draws alongside Clyde Superscoreboard’s Gordon Duncan.

Nathan Evans said: “It was a fantastic experience doing the draw today at Hampden Park. I couldn’t believe I pulled out Rangers to play Celtic, if they win tonight.

“I have a lot of Rangers and Celtic fans in a group chat so I could feel my phone buzzing like mad talking about it.

“Today has been surreal coming to Hampden as it’s the first time I’ve been here, despite watching so many games on the TV. I had a walk around the stadium before the draw took place and it was a brilliant feeling.

“The last few months have just been incredible. I uploaded ‘Wellerman’ on 27 December and from there my life has just changed. At Christmas time I was posting letters around Airdrie and now I’ve got a record deal, management, lawyers etc., and spending Easter Sunday doing the Scottish Cup draw! I’m always busy and now starting to get stopped in the street. It’s all totally different for me but I’m loving every minute of it.”
