Scotland Men's Under-16s returned from Cyprus earlier this week, after a productive camp which saw Stephen Clarke's side score seven and concede just one as they secured three straight wins over Cyprus, Romania and Northern Ireland.

The young Scots were playing their first matches since the Victory Shield and faced hosts Cyprus in the opening game of the Development Tournament. Despite falling behind, Scotland rallied and goals from Emmanuel Obidiwe, Callan Hamill and Luke Douglas saw them to a 3-1 comeback victory.

Scotland faced a strong Romania side next and, despite head coach Stephen Clarke making nine changes, Scotland produced another impressive display to triumph 2-0, with Aaron Thomson and Lucas Clearie on target.

A raft of changes followed in the final match, ensuring all players got on the pitch, but the scoreline was the same. Arran McSporran's header from a well-worked set-piece put Scotland in front before Lucas Clearie finished off a team move that began in Scotland's own box to ensure Clarke's side finished with a third consecutive victory.

Scotland Men's Under-17s were also in action as they faced Austria in a double header in Turkey and there was drama ahead of the opener as a thunderstorm saw the match called off at the last minute.

The game did kick off the following day, however, with Austria running out 1-0 victors.

Scotland made nine changes for the second game, which finished in a competitive goalless draw.
