Scotland made four changes following Saturday's important victory over Romania, with Lewis Carrol, Cole Burke, Taylor Hogarth and Cameron Patterson coming in to start.
As It Happened
Scotland knew that a victory was required to ensure they topped Group B1 and they got off to a dream start within the first minute. Cameron Williams precise pass inside found Cole Burke, and the winger showed superb composure to play a precise low ball across the six yard box to Alexander Smith who tapped in at the far post.
Burke then got on the scoresheet himself in the 10th minute, slotting home the rebound after the Liechtenstein goalkeeper could only parry Archie Traynor's shot from range.
It was 3-0 two minutes later as Smith combined with Taylor Hogarth who crossed to Fletcher Boyd to poke home from close range.
On 29 minutes it was 4-0 as Cameron Williams started a move on the half way line before eventually finishing off a flowing move by tapping home Boyd's cutback from three yards out.
Scotland passed up a couple of chances to extend their lead before eventually making it 5-0 before half-time as the impressive Williams burst into the box and fired into the far corner.

Scotland showed no lines of letting off after the restart and Burke grabbed his second of the game with a curling free-kick from 25 yards.
And, with his dad, former Scotland international Chris Burke, watching on, Burke completed his hat-trick as he steered Keir Gilligan's pull-back high into the net to make it 7-0 just after the hour mark.
Scotland Head Coach Brian McLaughlin rang the changes and one of the substitutes, Brodie Dair, made it 8-0 with ten minutes remaining, smashing home a penalty in off the crossbar after he was felled inside the area.
That would be the end of the scoring as Scotland finished Group B1 top after two victories and a draw, securing promotion to League A for the 2026/2027 Under-19 competition.
Head Coach's Thoughts
Scotland Men's Under-17 Head Coach Brian McLaughlin: "It's been a very successful week. This week was a chance for them to play for Scotland in their country for the first time and we've seen them grow as the week has gone on.
"We always knew the toughest game would be Romania and it played out that way. They're a very good team with a good physicality about them so we knew that and I thought the boys were outstanding in that game.
"Against North Macedonia we tried to play our own way and when you try to play out from the back all the time, you sometimes lose a goal and that's what happened but that's just the way we play.
"And credit to Liechtenstein today. They came with a very young squad. They're trying to invest in the future and when they played us today we were desperate to finish the week off properly.
"The players have now got to go back to their clubs and they've got to be the hardest trainers and the hardest workers.
"I'm now just looking forward to seeing how they get on in their young careers because we've got some real potential there."
