Scotland made seven changes from the side who secured a creditable 1-1 draw with Sweden on Wednesday. Callan McKenna, Connor Campbell, Jack Wylie, Calum Penman, Scott Constable, Jevan Beattie and Reuben Cooper coming into the line-up.
As It Happened
Scotland started brightly and Beattie thought he had equalised after 7 minutes with a towering header but the assistant referee's flag was up for offside.
Captain Tyler Fletcher then went close with a low deflected effort that was parried away a few minutes later.
Poland's first chance came in the 13th minute when McKenna was forced to parry away an attempt from Dawid Mazurek.
Poland's Michael Izunwanne then fired into the side netting in the 25th minute before Scotland's Findlay Curtis cut in and had an effort that was saved by the finger tips of Kornel Miscuir.
The lively Rudi Molotnikov worked an opening in the 29th minute but he could only fire over from just outside the box.
Jakub Zbrog should have given Poland the lead right on the stroke of half-time but he shot straight at McKenna as the first half finished goalless.
Poland did take the lead in the 55th minute as Mazurek steered home a brilliant finish to make it 1-0.
Both teams made a number of changes and it was Poland who exploited the stop-start nature of the match, with two clinical goals from Kamil Jakóbczyk and Fabian Bzdyl making it 3-0.
Scotland's James Overy did pull a goal back in the 85th minute with a deflected effort from a tight angle, before Dominik Sarapata slotted home a fourth for Poland after a swift counter-attack as the match finished 4-1.
