Scotland v Greece
UEFA Nations League Play-Off
Sunday, 23 March 2025 (5pm)
Hampden Park, Glasgow
Scotland are ready to welcome Greece to Hampden Park on Sunday evening for the second leg of the UEFA Nations League Play-Off.
Steve Clarke's side hold a narrow one-goal lead, thanks to Scott McTominay's penalty, but there's no complacency within the squad - who know there is a long way to go before a spot in the top tier is secured.
Team news
Scotland are boosted by the return of Ryan Christie from suspension.
There are no fresh injury concerns from the win in Greece.
Pre-match thoughts
Steve Clarke insists his side have no intention of sitting back on their one-goal advantage, and is keen to build on recent momentum.
He said: "It is a game that we want to win. We have got the lead from the first leg win. But we are going to set up and try and go and win the game. And hopefully set a marker for the World Cup games coming up.
"Instead of having four friendlies leading into a World Cup qualifier we have got two games in March that mean a lot. They are important games.
"I think we have improved. If you look at the world rankings, that will tell you different. But that is a little anomaly that seems to have popped up with the Nations League.
"I think we as a team have improved. I think as individual players we have improved at this level. We understand what it takes to win a game at this level. And thankfully, recently, we have been able to show that we can do it."
