Scot Gemmill has announced his Scotland Under-21 squad for the forthcoming European Under-21 Championship qualifiers against Andorra and Netherlands.

The Scots are hoping to build on the momentum of a second straight semi-final finish at the prestigious Toulon tournament, where a host of fresh faces took their chance to impress.

There are first call-ups at this level for Aberdeen midfielder Lewis Ferguson - who has impressed since a summer switch from Hamilton and scored a spectacular bicycle kick in the Europa League showdown with Burnley – and on-form Hibs striker Oli Shaw.

Versatile Reading prospect Tom McIntyre also makes a welcome return to the international fold after enduring two injury-disrupted campaigns.
