The Scotland Women’s National Team will kick off their 2023 fixtures in Spain as they take part in their third consecutive Pinatar Cup.

Head Coach Pedro Martínez Losa will lead his side in matches against Iceland, Philippines and Wales in the tournament, which will take place near Murcia from 13–22 February.

Scotland won the inaugural competition in 2020 with wins over Iceland, Ukraine and Northern Ireland.

After Covid halted the tournament in 2021, Scotland secured a fifth-place finish in an expanded eight-team tournament in the 2022 iteration, losing to Wales in their opening fixture, beating Slovakia in their second and then winning on penalties against Hungary in the final match following a hard-fought 0-0 draw.

Scotland have been regular visitors to Pinatar in recent years, recording a famous victory over Brazil in a 2019 friendly ahead of their inaugural appearance at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
