Scotland Men's Under-17s will begin their quest to reach a third successive Under-17 European Championships when they jet off to Turkey to first their first set of qualifiers for EURO 2024.

Brian McLaughlin's side qualified for the 2022 finals in Israel and they repeated the feat by reaching this year's championships in Hungary in May.

This new group contains several of the players who competed in the Victory Shield last year.

Scotland begin with a game against Belarus on Saturday, 21 October before taking on Kazakhstan three days later.

Their campaign concludes with a tough test against hosts Turkey.

The top two sides - and five of the best third placed sides - will advance to the Elite Round which will take place early in the new year.

This new Under-17 group played their first two matches of the cycle at the end of August, winning and drawing against Switzerland.
