Brian McLaughlin has announced his Scotland Under-17 squad for the forthcoming UEFA Under-17 Championship Finals in Israel.
The Scots earned their place after finishing second in their Group 3 qualifying stage, with the games played on home soil at the Falkirk Stadium.
McLaughlin’s men showed real character to bounce back from going two goals down in their opening game against Czech Republic. Rory Wilson – who was named Man of the Match in this week’s Scottish FA Youth Cup Final – bagged a double to earn an important point.
Next up was a morale-denting 4-0 loss to a talented German side, before qualification was secured with the 6-1 defeat of Georgia.
Scotland will lock horns with Portugal, Denmark and Sweden.
