Scotland Under-17s have secured qualification for the finals of the European Championship in Hungary, after finishing second in Group 2 in the Elite Round.
Brian McLaughlin's side have now qualified for the finals in consecutive seasons.
Scotland bounced back from a 4-2 defeat to Wales in the Elite Round by beating Montenegro 2-1 on Saturday.
A 0-0 draw with Iceland on Tuesday left McLaughlin's young side on 4 points which proved to be enough as they progressed as one of the 7 best second-placed teams.
Scotland had qualified for the Elite Round by finishing second in their initial qualifiers in Malta in October. They finished second in a group that included Czech Republic, Malta and Northern Ireland to reach the Elite Round.
Elite Round
The Young Scots came into the Elite Round full of confidence after beating Switzerland 7-0 in a recent friendly in Pinatar.
However, their forward line suffered a blow on the eve of the tournament with Rory Wilson and Alfie Bavidge both being forced to withdraw through injury.
Scotland got off to the worst possible start in the opener in Newport and they were 3-0 down on 51 minutes after a double from Iwan Morgan and a Gabriele Biancheri strike.
A Bobby McLuckie double got Scotland back into the game before Mitchel Frame wrapped up a 4-2 win for the hosts in the last minute.
Scotland also faced adversity in the next match against Montenegro as they fell behind earlier on but Daniel Cummings - a late replacement in the squad - levelled proceedings.
And McLuckie grabbed a late winner to secure a 2-1 win.
That victory proved vital as Scotland battled to a 0-0 draw against Iceland in their final match.
A nervous wait followed before it was confirmed by UEFA that Scotland would progress to the finals in Hungary as one of the best second-placed teams.
