Tuesday, 7 September 2021 (KO 17.30)
Bursa Buyuksehir Stadium, Bursa, Turkey
Scotland Under-21s are set to begin their qualification bid for the UEFA European Under-21 Championships.
Head coach Scot Gemmill, who got the chance to get his youngsters back together for a friendly double-header in May, has named his squad for the opening match in Group I against Turkey.
The 21s make the trip to Bursa for the first fixture in the group and a first competitive match since November 2020.
Stephen Kelly's late appearance off the bench for Rangers against Alashkert on Thursday night took the total number of players who have featured in European fixtures at club level in recent weeks to six.
Seven Performance School players are included in the 22 player squad, accounting for a third of the group.
Celtic's Adam Montgomery joins teammate Stephen Welsh, with the former being named in a Scotland squad for the first time. Athletic Bilbao striker Ewan Urain is looking for a first competitive appearance for Scotland.
