International friendly
Scotland v Northern Ireland
Friday, 14 July 2023 (kick-off 7.35pm)
Kilmac Stadium, Dundee

Scotland Women’s National Team travel to Dundee for the first ever women’s international match at the Kilmac Stadium.

Pedro Martinez Losa’s side will face Northern Ireland for the first time since June 2021. Scotland were 1-0 winners in the friendly in Belfast, courtesy of a penalty converted by Caroline Weir. Weir will captain Scotland in the absence of Rachel Corsie who has withdrawn from the squad due to injury.

Scotland go into the game buoyed by two great results and performances in the last international window against Australia and Costa Rica.

Pre-match thoughts:

Goalkeeper, Lee Gibson on playing in Dundee: “We’re really hoping we can get a good crowd and have that feel good factor back that we’ve had in the last few games. We had two good performances in April – two wins, two clean sheets, lots of fresh faces and new goal-scorers. It’s a good time to build momentum as we look ahead to the Nations League.

“It’s nice to go somewhere else and it’s good for fans who live further afield. It’s great that we’ve taken this opportunity to take the team on the road and take our football to communities in other parts of the country.”

Team news:

Captain Rachel Corsie will miss out due to injury, replaced by Kelly Clark. Lisa Evans returns to replace Claire Emslie who is also absent due to a knock. Erin Cuthbert is back and available selection after missing the last camp in April.

Tickets:

Tickets are available online until 3 hours before KO. Tickets can also be purchased at the stadium until KO.
