Latest step in Lowland League side BSC Glasgow’s cup run to be broadcast live

The televised fixtures for the William Hill Scottish Cup Fifth Round have been announced, as BSC Glasgow get set to have the spotlight shone on their remarkable cup run.

The Lowland League side will play host to the winner of the Fourth Round replay between Hibs and Dundee United, with BBC Scotland to broadcast the match live.

Should Dundee United win their replay then the match will be played on Friday, 7 February at 7.05pm, while should Hibs progress to the Fifth Round then they will take on BSC Glasgow on Sunday, 9 February at 12 noon.

Saturday’s televised fixtures will see Hamilton Academical play host to Rangers, live on Premier Sport, kick-off at 12.30pm. Later that day, the winner of the Fourth Round replay between Championship side Arbroath and League One’s Falkirk will play host to last season’s finalists Heart of Midlothian, live on BBC Scotland at 7.20pm.

The final televised fixture of the weekend will see Celtic travel to League One Clyde, where they will be aiming to make amends for the shock defeat from the last time the two sides met in the Scottish Cup. That day, Roy Keane’s debut for Celtic was soured by a 2-1 defeat to the Bully Wee in January 2006.
