The Scottish Gas Scottish Cup trophy tour continues later this month with an event at Dumbarton, prior to their Second Round clash against Banks O'Dee.

The 1883 Scottish Cup winners will host the latest 'Evening with the Scottish Cup' in their iconic Dumbarton Football Stadium, situated beneath Dumbarton Rock.

The event will take place on the evening of Friday, 27 October.

Doors open at 6.30pm, with guests able to get their photo with the trophies, before a Q&A featuring two special guests in former Dumbarton players Ray Montgomerie and Andy Graham.

Montgomerie spent seven years at Dumbarton before joining Kilmarnock, where he would win the Scottish Cup as captain in 1997.

Another Dumbarton fans favourite, Graham made over 100 appearances for The Sons - notably captaining them to the Scottish Cup Quarter-Final in 2014.

The trophy tour kicked off in the Highlands last month, as the Scottish Cup marks its 150th season.

Attendees will also have their opportunity to have their picture taken with both the Scottish Gas Men’s Scottish Cup and the Scottish Gas Women’s Scottish Cup.

Future stops on the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup trophy tour will be announced following the conclusion of each round and the draw for the following round.

While they will be free, the ‘Evening with the Cup’ events will be ticketed. Tickets for the first stop can be secured here.
