Friendly Match
Scotland v Iceland
Fir Park, Motherwell
Thursday, 17 November, 7pm

Head coach Scot Gemmill has been boosted by the return of a number of key players as he today names his Scotland Under-21 squad to face Iceland later this month.

The match will take place at Fir Park, in Motherwell, while the Scottish FA can today confirm that entry for the match will be FREE for all supporters who wish to attend, with no tickets required.

The squad has a strong feel to it, as several absentees from the Under-21s' double header against Northern Ireland in September return to the fold.

Elliot Anderson, Connor Barron, Alex Lowry and Calvin Ramsay are all back after injury, while Stuart McKinstry and Cole McKinnon - who were late withdrawals from the last camp - return also.

There are also three first-time call-ups, in Bayern Munich defender Liam Morrison, Newcastle United goalkeeper Jude Smith and Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney.

The young Scots will be looking to build on a positive September camp, which included a 3-1 win over Northern Ireland in Belfast, followed by a 1-1 draw in Paisley against the same opposition.
