The draws for the 2018-19 William Hill Scottish Cup First and Second Preliminary Rounds were made at Hampden Park this afternoon.

Scottish National Team Head Coaches Alex McLeish and Shelley Kerr joined broadcaster Luke Shanley to do the honours, with the draw covered live on the Scottish Cup Twitter account @ScottishCup.

Five clubs were automatically entered into the draw for the First Preliminary Round: Tynecastle (South & East Cup Winners Shield Winners), Bonnyrigg Rose (East Junior Super League Winners), Auchinleck Talbot (Scottish Junior Cup Winners), Beith Juniors (West Junior Super League Winners) and Shortlees AFC (Scottish Amateur Cup Winners).

The first five clubs drawn – Girvan, Linlithgow Rose, Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale, Newton Stewart and Wigtown & Bladnoch - received byes to the Second Preliminary Round.

Nine teams were then drawn from the East of Scotland League, South of Scotland League and other member clubs to join those aforementioned teams in the First Preliminary Round draw.

For the Second Preliminary Round, six ties were drawn and the winners of those ties will be entered into the William Hill Scottish Cup First Round.
