It's been an entertaining weekend of Fourth Round action in the Women's Scottish Cup.

Kicking off on Saturday afternoon, Heart of Midlothian became the first side to book their place in the Fifth Round draw, with a 2-0 victory away to Dundee United. Strikes from Ciara Grant and Jenna Penman saw the Jambos secure their victory.

Sunday's early kick-offs saw big hat-tricks from Charlotte Gammie and Lauren Gordon that helped Montrose to their 12-0 victory over Bonnyrigg Rose. Meanwhile, Celtic's Amy Gallacher secured a hat-trick of her own to see the holders into the Fifth Round, as they defeated Falkirk 9-0.

In her first match in interim charge, Leanne Ross would have been pleased with Glasgow City's victory – goals from Bea Prades Ines, Erin Greening, Hayley Lauder and Kinga Kozak saw City defeat Hamilton Accies 4-0.

Meadowbank saw an Edinburgh Derby between Hibernian and Spartans. It was the Hibees who would come out on top in this one, with Kirsty Morrison, Eilidh Adams and Ava Kuyken on the scoresheet.

Rossvale put in an impressive performance, as they booked their place in the Fifth Round with a 3-1 victory over Central Girls. Glasgow Women defeated Inverness Caledonian Thistle 5-1 – Shelley Campbell's long-range free-kick the pick of the goals.

One of the games of the day came as Ayr United defeated Morton; this one went all the way to penalties, with the scores level at 4-4 after extra time. It was the Ayrshire side who prevailed in the end, emerging 5-4 winners via spot-kicks.

It was a big win for Rangers at Broadwood, as they defeated University of Stirling 11-0 with Jodi McLeary grabbing a hat-trick. This, along with strikes from Kirsty Howat, Lizzie Arnot, Megan Bell, Brogan Hay, Emma Watson and Jenny Danielsson, saw the Gers book their place in Monday's Fifth Round draw.

It was a tight affair between Westdyke and Kilmarnock, with the scores locked at 0-0 after extra time – it took a 97th minute breakthrough from Killie's Monica Harty to separate the sides.

Bayley Hutchison and Mya Christie grabbed the goals for Aberdeen, as they defeated Hutchison Vale 2-0, whilst St Johnstone overcame Dryburgh by the same scoreline.

Boroughmuir Thistle put in a terrific performance to progress to the Fifth Round, as they were 11-0 victors over Edinburgh Caledonia; Mhari Smith grabbing five for the hosts.
